Our Impact

Through workshops, land stewardship, and Indigenous foodways, SGUA brings people together to learn, share, and keep cultural knowledge alive. Explore our work below.

Workshops & Community Learning

Today felt like home ✨ the place I remember I was the happiest growing up, outside being one with nature and all she offers us!

Soil to Table: September 2026 Impact

4 Completed Workshops

In September 2026, the Soil to Table series at Akwesasne Seed Hub offered four hands-on workshops exploring seasonal harvesting, garden and wild foods, food preservation, and cooking and sharing meals.

Approximately 35 Workshop Attendances

Across four workshops, the series recorded approximately 35 attendances, including participants who returned for more than one class.

Learning from Land to Table

Participants explored seasonal harvesting, garden and wild foods, preservation, and meal preparation through hands-on learning rooted in Indigenous foodways. The series brought people together to share food, knowledge, and time on the land.
