About us

SGUA - Seven Generation United Association

We are Seven Generations United Association (SGUA), an Indigenous-led nonprofit dedicated to cultural preservation, food sovereignty, and community wellness. Grounded in the teachings of our ancestors, we unite traditional ecological knowledge, Indigenous foods, and cultural practices to heal our relationship with the land and each other. Our work includes land-based education, educational workshops, youth programs, cultural events, and partnerships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners that strengthen both Native and urban communities. We believe that by restoring balance to our ecosystems and honoring our traditions, we are building a healthier future for the next seven generations.
